  • Named after Father Constant Falher, an Oblate Missionary who arrived in the area in August 1912 accompanied by a group of 12 settlers from the province of Québec

  • Host to the Falher Honey Festival held yearly in June to celebrate the town
  • A must see is the St. Jean Baptiste Mission Church, built of logs in 1914, located 2km south of Falher. It is also the original location of the Hamlet of Falher
  • The Bi-annual Smoky River Agricultural Trade Show held in the Falher Regional Recreational Complex in March, is one of the largest sponsored Trade Shows in the North Peace
